we From chilling to daring, here are five body horror movies you might want to miss
Scenario
A fading celebrity takes a black-market drug: a cell-regenerating substance that temporarily creates a younger, better version of himself.. Nothing more dangerous than humanity, these films fully explore the inhumane ways our bodies can betray us. Ray Liotta starred in the movie in February 2022, but he died in May of that year before his scenes could be filmed.
Covered in blood
Dennis Quaid has replaced him, but Liotta still has the director’s "thank you notes" During the credits.. the toilet mirror appears intact after repeatedly shattering during the fight sequence. 7PM Project Features: Episode dated September 20, 2024 (2024).
It was an experience to say the least
Pump It Up was written by Michael Hall, performed by Leonardo Stella, Earl Gregory and produced by Julien Deguines. This is one of those movies that doesn’t do justice even if you watch it at home. You must be in a packed theater, feel the waves of energy and rawness from the crowd.
But it’s all worth it
You’ll laugh, you’ll look away, your jaw will drop, you’ll feel uncomfortable. It’s incredible filmmaking, award-winning acting and a shattering soundtrack all rolled into one. A big round of applause to Demi for taking on a vulnerable role covering a subject that is rarely discussed.
Note that this is not a movie you need to get high before you see
Looking forward to seeing what happens with this, hopefully an open dialogue within the industry and hopefully more doors open than closed. Check out our list of exciting new movies from this year’s film festivals, including Venice, TIFF, New York Film Festival, and more.
